PRICING

My prices reflect the quality of my work. I am not a fly-by-night part-timer, this is my profession and I take pride in my work.

I charge only for my time and effort. My daily rate is £150. My hourly rate is currently £20. I try to quote honestly and with integrity.

I quote for each project in terms of estimated time. An example of a smaller site is Clare Crossman - Poet & Writer - this site took three days to complete once I had all the content so came in at £450.

Each project is different and price is dependent on a number of factors:

  • the client's budget!
  • whether the client is uploading website content themselves (e.g. through Adobe Contribute) - this significantly reduces the cost for very little inital outlay. I will factor setup and training within a quote
  • whether the client can provide good quality photographs - sourcing photographs is time-consuming
  • how much web functionality is required
  • and finally how bespoke and/or complex the job is - this applies to web and print work.

I'll always let a client know if I think their expectations are unrealistic for the budget they have in mind.

I ask for 50% of the project cost upfront (unless I'm working on a contract basis).
